    After September 11th, CSS developed the Emergency Response Safety and Health Database for CDC, a catalog of chemical agents that might be used in future terrorist events.

    A team of CSS marine scientists and technicians supports NOAA’s Center for Coastal Monitoring and Assessment to keep tabs on the health of our coastal ecosystems.

    CSS Instructional Designers developed a complete DVD and Web-based training program to enhance security awareness within the transportation industry.

  • US Department of State

    In October 2001, CSS responded to the threat of anthrax in the State Department's mail system and now provides safety and health services to embassies, consulates and posts worldwide.

    CSS Certified Industrial Hygienists and safety professionals oversee safety for some 3,500 civil service personnel occupying 38 major facilities at the Goddard Space Flight Center.

    CSS helped the National Center for Biotechnology Information, one of three international institutes housing public sequence data, to create their "About NCBI" site and continues to provide technical support to the Public Service section.
