Dr. Matten is a Senior Scientist for Consolidated Safety Services. He received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Dr. Matten has over 13 years of experience in basic research in molecular and cellular biology. His broad background includes working knowledge of cellular signaling mechanisms, marine ecology, general zoology, environmental science, and bioinformatics.
