Human Health Risk Assessment

CSS offers the full range of environmental toxicology services for Human Health Risk Assessment (HHRA) – including hazard identification, toxicology assessment, exposure assessment, and risk characterization – to evaluate concerns to human health and the environment.  We conduct and evaluate studies on the movement, metabolism, degradation, and fate of a broad range of chemicals including pesticides, herbicides, and other agricultural and industrial chemicals, as well as those produced from naturally occurring sources such as harmful algal blooms.

IT Services

Satellite Data Applications

Earth observations by satellite provide critical data for monitoring and measuring changes to in our planet’s aquatic, terrestrial, and climatic environments, as well as man-made infrastructure and focal points. Industrial Hygiene Services for the Army Public Health Command (APHC)

CSS served as the prime contractor performing facility-wide industrial hygiene (IH) surveys and assessments at 16 CONUS and 8 OCONUS Army installations for FY2016. We scheduled and executed surveys using teams of IH professionals for large-scale (NTE 200 shops surveys, 400 ventilation evaluations, 100 sound level measurements, and 100 noise dosimetry measurements per Army installation)…

NUCO Oil Pit removal

CSS supported EPA as the field team leader on a removal assessment at an abandoned oil pit site in Oklahoma.

Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) ES&H Support

CSS provided on-site environmental, safety, and health support 24 hours per day/five days per week to support approximately 1,900 employees occupying 1.4 million square feet of floor space at BEP’s Washington, DC, facility (DCF).

Cleaning Up the National Anthrax Attack

Challenge CSS working alongside of the U. S.
